This page assists the genealogist in finding rare books, local indexes, biographies, and those hi idden collections with wonderful stories about our ancestors and their families. In 2005, CSGA began documenting libraries around the state bringing to light these wonderful genealogy collections. Frequently these collections are the result of Genealogical and Historical Societies allocating funds to purchase important books and then donating them to the local library. Whether you are a genealogist living in California, or one planning to visit California, use these library reviews to help you get the most out of your visit in and about the state. |
