Tara Mica brings 30+ years of state government relations experience to the team, most recently as State Director for the National Rifle Association's Institute for Legislative Action. In this role, she managed all legislative and political activities for the organization in the South and Southwest as part of her regional responsibilities for two-and-a-half decades. 

She served on the American Legislative Exchange Council's former Criminal Justice Task Force and previously co-chaired the Public Safety & Elections Task Force.  She resides in Austin, Texas, with her husband Carl, who serves as Deputy Chief of Staff & State Director for U.S. Senator Ted Ted Cruz.
